We were very surprised to see not one but two new video slot games being released by a small company like Zeus Play. We have to applaud their efforts and the amount of work they’ve put into their latest release The Explorers Quest. What’s interesting about this slot is the reels design. Once you open the game you will see a total of 9 reels on the screen. There are 3 rows and 10 pay lines and the 9 reels actually serve as two identical slots being played at the same time. The first four reels are played on the first slot and the last four are played on the second slot, while the fifth reel is common to both. This is an interesting design which we haven’t seen in other slots than the ones coming from Zeus Play. The game has an attractive bonus round with extra expanding symbols and a chance for players to get an infinite number of free spins.
The visual effects in The Explorers Quest slot are great. The overall design of the game is like a land based slot machine, but with a modern twist. We can see some great animations on the reels, especially when the bonus round is triggered which makes the game attractive to the eye.
The Explorers Quest has a total of two bonus rounds. One is a cash pick and win bonus and the other one is a free spins bonus. Once two treasure chests land on reels 3 and 7 the Nerul’s Treasure bonus is triggered. Here players have a chance to win up to 500 x total bet.
